Support for Project Governance

CoG is set up to encourage the informed management and governance of projects.

CoG's governance focus is on distributed organizations that are comprised of multiple projects working together to develop products or establish a knowledge base. For such organizations, expectations about governance must be set and supporting information created at all levels, from the overarching vision to the tasks undertaken for specific sub-projects.  

CoG's web forms ask questions about project mission, goals, governance and processes.  This information is displayed on a per-project basis and also consolidated across a project's hierarchy.

CoG's Schema:

CoG uses a schema to describe the bits of project information that are most important for understanding what a project does, and how it is run. Below are a few links that describe the schema for those that are interested on ontologies.
