Analysis of the Relationship between two ESMF Usability Layers: MAPL and NUOPC In this short paper we describe the relationship between two sets of conventions for implementing the Earth System Modeling Framework (ESMF) : one developed under the NASA Modeling Analysis and Prediction (MAP) program and another under the National Unified Operational Prediction Capability (NUOPC) , a consortium of operational weather prediction centers and their research partners.
NEMS-OCEAN coupling work meeting Slides used to discuss NEMS-OCEAN coupling in NEMS during a work meeting at NCEP Feb 2014. The end product of this effort was a running one-way coupled GSM-to-MOM5 system under NEMS.
